15th Annual Citizens Academy

The Potter County Sheriff’s Office 15th Annual Citizens Academy is set to return on Sept. 5th and run until Nov. 21st.

The first week will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 5 at the Potter County Sheriff’s Office, located at 13103 NE 29th in the Law Enforcement Center.

Deputies from each division will detail their duties to participants and one evening, attendees will even get the chance to tour the jail.

The goal of the Citizens Academy is to help the citizens of Amarillo understand how the sheriff’s department works and how deputies perform their jobs in the community
