10 BSA Nurses Named Panhandle’s Greatest

BSA Health System has announced that 10 of their nurses have been recognized by the Texas Nurses Association.

They were honored for their exceptional nursing practices and service to the community.

BSA Chief Nursing Officer Belinda Gibson said “These ten nurses demonstrate a deep commitment to the health and healing of others, and they are invaluable to BSA and our community,”

The recipients are:
Jessica Albracht, RN, BSN, CCRN – Intermediate Care Unit
Dana Brookwalter, RN – Intermediate Care Unit
Brenda Graham, RN, BSN – BSA Harrington Breast Center
Glenda Harris, RN, MSN, CGRN, CNOR – Surgical Services
Hong Hong, RN – Women’s Medical Surgical
Theresa King, RN – Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cami Meason, RN, BSN – Women’s Medical Surgical
Jennifer Peters, RNC-OB, BSN – Labor and Delivery
Amanda (Mandy) Richardson, RN, BSN – Intensive Care Unit
Sandy Richardson, RNC, BSN – Neonatal ICU

The Nurses will be honored at the Panhandle Great 25 Nurses celebration at Polk Street United Methodist Church on November 4, 2021.

The Panhandle Great 25 Nurses celebration was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19. In 2019, 12 BSA nurses were honored: Jessica Hawley, Lindsey Kinard, Melinda Conway, Stephanie Chestnut, Michelle Adkins, Suzanne Baxter, Natalie Huntley, Traci Doss, Chelsey Castillo, Leandra Henthorn, Shelby Hill and Leisa Robinson.
