Insurance Implications For Cotton

With the kind of boom in cotton acreage we’re looking for this year, it appears many farmers will be going with this crop in a much bigger way than they have in the past and some will be planting cotton for the first time ever. DeDe Jones, the risk management specialist for Texas A&M AgriLife, told KGNC Agribusiness Director James Hunt that newcomers to cotton need to think about crop insurance.
