Ryan Rua capped the fifth with a three-run homer, while Nomar Mazara had a two-run single in the sixth for the Rangers, who have won nine straight overall. Martin Perez struck out eight over seven innings of two-run ball as he improved to 2-and-5.

Cowboys Add 6-Foot-10 Lineman
(Frisco, TX) — The Cowboys are adding some legit size to their offensive line. Dallas signed undrafted free agent guard Dan Skipper out of Arkansas. The 6-foot-10, 310-pound Skipper took part in the team’s rookie minicamp as a tryout candidate last week. Skipper was a four-year starter for the Razorbacks and played in 51 games. He also blocked seven field goals in his career.
