DPS Seized More Than 50 Pounds Of Marijuana After Traffic Stop

The Texas Department of Public Safety seized 64 pounds of marijuana Friday in Oldham County. Around 3:45, troopers stopped a 2017 Nissan Altima traveling east on I-40 for a traffic violation. When the DPS canine arrived on scene multiple vacuumed-sealed packages were found inside duffle bags in the trunk. The driver 45-year-old Xue Huang of Philadelphia was arrested and charged with felony possession and booked into the Oldham County Jail. The drugs were being transported from California to Philadelphia and worth $389,000.
